2008 Young Filmmakers Program Pitch Session

Once again we were thrilled to invited back to host our student pitch session at the 2008 Austin Film Festival.

Sponsored by the Mobile Film School

The Mobile Film School partnered with our friends at Austin Film Festival in a fun way, to teach students how to talk about their work professionally – through the art of "the pitch."  Our Panelists were John August (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish), Carlo Eugster (Out of Blue Entertainment), Terry Rossio (National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rick Dugdale a distribution executive.  We had some amazing pitches from 15 brave High School students and our esteemed panel made it a learning experience for the ENTIRE audience audience.

"I love that AFF focuses on and honors the writer unlike any other festival. After all, it all starts with story, that’s what we teach our students."
